We offer our patients the following options: a) make a one-time purchase b) purchase a larger quantity to cover a longer period c) to sign up as a subscription service which is appropriate for long term conditions. The nature of the treatments for long term conditions are ongoing and therefore it makes sense to provide a repeat service. You will have a repeat dispensing prescription, which will save you the time of having to re-order every month with us. Your repeat prescriptions would be approved by one of our pharmacist prescribers which is similar to the repeat prescription service provided at your local GP. If you opt in for a subscription service, we will be able to offer the medication at a lower price compared to a single purchase order. We will not automatically put you onto a repeat prescription service unless specifically requested.
Yes, you can get in touch through the messaging section of your account or you can add a message while completing the medical assessment if your query is related to the treatment you are purchasing.
We provide your medication through a private prescription issued by a member of our clinical team. The price you pay covers the consultation, prescription and cost of the medication; there are no further charges to pay.
We do not offer a free trial service. Where there are multiple treatment options available (such as Erectile Dysfunction) we would recommend you purchase initially a small pack size before considering it for long term use.
Often there are multiple treatment options available for the same condition. Some treatments will be more effective than others depending on each individual. This is not unusual and is common in healthcare practice. Please get in touch with our Clinical Team and we can explain the options available. You can try small quantities of each treatment until the most suitable option is found for you.
Most medications in the UK require a prescription from a qualified healthcare professional (e.g. doctor or pharmacist prescriber) before it can be dispensed by a pharmacy. This process of having prescriptions authorised is legally required in the UK and is in place to ensure you receive the appropriate treatment for your condition and most importantly to ensure it is safe and effective for the patient. At Pharmacinta, our clinical team only issue an electronic private prescription after undertaking a review of an online medical assessment, which is completed by the patient. Most of the treatments we provide are prescription only medications, therefore, you must complete our medical assessment form before we can prescribe the appropriate medication for your condition.

We will only ask you what is medically relevant for us to safely prescribe medication and be effective. To do so we must ask you questions related to your health, medical and medication history.
No. The prescription request must be made by the person intending to take the medication. Before a prescription can be approved we must directly receive the medical history of the patient intending to use the medication.
All of our clinicians are UK qualified and fully regulated to undertake clinical work in the UK. They are also based in the UK and have extensive experience working in the NHS. Please visit the ‘About us’ section of our website to learn more about the company, founder and the clinical team. Our pharmacist prescribers are regulated by the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) and are fully insured to undertake clinical and prescribing activities. You can verify the registrations of all our clinicians. All registration details can be verified by visiting the relevant regulatory body websites. Link is available in the ‘About us’ section.
We are regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). Our partner pharmacies are all regulated by the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) and the Medicines and Healthcare Regulatory Authority (MHRA).
Patient choice is paramount. You should have the freedom to choose where you get your medications and treatment from. This could be from your local pharmacy, GP or from a reputable online pharmacy. We would recommend you consider purchasing your medications through our service for the following reasons: - Fast and convenient - no appointments are needed, and you can complete a medical questionnaire 24 hours a day to access our treatments. - The online approach is discreet and confidential without you having to turn up for an appointment in person or talking to a pharmacist in front of other customers. The preferred form of communication is via phone. In the majority of cases the online assessment will be sufficient without need for further contact. - Treatment for Erectile Dysfunction, Premature Ejaculation and Hair Loss are not usually available on the NHS. Your GP will usually prescribe the medication on a private prescription which will cost you a lot more than what you will pay online. - Your GP is usually restricted by NHS guidelines on how much medication they can prescribe at any given time. With our one off purchase or repeat dispensing service, a larger quantity can be prescribed (where appropriate) with longer intervals.
Our Clinical Team will be able to approve your prescription within 24 hours (usually within a few hours) of you filling in our online medical assessment form. If you have a more complicated health background that requires further information, they will contact you (via email or phone) to ascertain the relevant medical history to ensure safe and effective treatment provision. Once the consultation is complete and the medication is deemed appropriate and safe, an electronic prescription will be sent to your nominated pharmacy, where the medication will be dispensed and ready for you to collect.
We strongly advise you to give us permission to share information with your GP so they as your primary health care provider are fully aware of any medications you are taking. We will only share this information if you give us permission to do so.
We supply the exact same medications as all pharmacies in the high street. Your nominated pharmacy will give you the same medication they would have given you if you were prescribed by your GP or NHS hospital doctor.
You will be advised by the Pharmacinta clinical team and your nominated pharmacy on the common side effects to look out for. This will be provided in email form from Pharmacinta with the Patient Information Leaflet (PIL). The nominated pharmacy will also supply a physical copy with the medication. You will have an opportunity to ask further questions and raise any concerns with both our clinical team and the pharmacist at your nominated pharmacy. If you experience any side effects (mild or moderate), depending on the seriousness of it, you should liaise with our clinical team, the pharmacist or your GP. If you experience any severe side effects (as listed in the PIL) please seek immediate advice from NHS 111/GP/999.
There are often multiple treatments available for the same condition which work better for different people. We recommend you try an alternative treatment, but before you do this, please discuss this with our clinical team.
An existing prescription is not required. We offer a free medical consultation as part of the ordering process which allows us to ascertain your symptoms and medical history. This is then reviewed by our Clinical Team, who then electronically issue private prescriptions to your nominated pharmacy. The medication is then dispensed and ready for you to collect.
We will not prescribe any medication until a medical consultation has been undertaken and reviewed by our Clinical Team. Our clinicians will review your existing and past medical history to assess the suitability of the treatment. If your requested treatment is deemed unsafe for you based on your medical history, and there is not an appropriate alternative we can offer, we will not be able to prescribe a medication to you. Instead, we will refer you to your GP for further investigation or assessment. We are regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and our pharmacist prescribers and partner pharmacies are regulated by the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC). Our doctors are regulated by the General Medical Council (GMC).
Viagra Connect, Viagra and Sildenafil all contain the same active ingredient: Sildenafil Citrate. The makers of Viagra lost its patency in 2018, resulting in the production of the generic alternative by several pharmaceutical companies. This naturally led to the prices of this medication (and others) dropping significantly compared to the branded alternatives. Sildenafil Citrate is a chemical that temporarily increases blood flow to the penis, enabling an erection when sexually aroused. Because all three treatments contain Sildenafil Citrate as their active ingredient, they all work in exactly the same way.
Your medical data, medication order history and personal details are totally confidential in compliance with the UK regulations. They will only be viewable by our clinicians, staff and the pharmacy staff at our partner pharmacies. Please view our privacy policy for further details. Information will not be shared to third parties such as your GP unless expressly authorised by you.
We provide prescription medication after our short online medical assessment is completed and then approved by our Clinical Team. We must verify that the person requesting the medication is who they say they are; and to ensure the medications are safe and appropriate for the person requesting it. Moreover, by law we have to confirm the ID verification of each patient in compliance with the regulatory body i.e. Care Quality Commission. When you go through our ordering process, our ID verification partners will run an ID check on your details to confirm the name, date of birth and address are correct. Sometimes this verification process fails, in which case we will contact you directly to send us scanned copies of your ID such as your driving license or passport.
Please click on this link to the login page and click on the forgotten username/password and follow the instructions.
For long term conditions we issue repeat prescriptions where clinically appropriate, just login to your account and re-order. If the prescription is still active you will not have to complete another medical assessment form.
Please login to your account and go to your orders section to see your active prescriptions. Although you may have a live repeat prescription we do not bill or dispense medication automatically, you would need to request it, only then will you be billed.
During the initial checkout process we will hold a pending payment of £1. Once your medication has been approved by our clinical team, we will take the remainder of the payment. If your order is cancelled because the medication requested is not clinically appropriate for you or for any other reason, then the £1 pending payment will be refunded.
Please email customer service with your request.
Please login to your account and go to the related order and send a message to our clinical team. They will decide whether it can be updated with no further information or required or if a new order will need to be made.
If you contact us before the medication has been dispensed by your nominated pharmacy, then we can cancel the order and process your refund. Unfortunately, once the medication has been dispensed we are unable to cancel the order or accept a return as medication cannot be reused as per the UK regulations on medicines.
We cannot accept returns as it is illegal for medication to be reused once it has left the pharmacy. The only instance in which we will refund you is if there was an error on our part. Please contact our customer service team if that happens; we will give you details on how to return the medication back to us along with details of the refund process.
The nominated pharmacy is the pharmacy you have selected to collect your medicine from. This is usually in a locality that is close to you, either a pharmacy close to your workplace or near your home address.
Yes you can if we have a partner pharmacy more closely located to your home or workplace. Please go to the changed nominated pharmacy section of your account to see what other pharmacies are available in your locality and request to make a switch.
You will collect your medication from the nominated pharmacy you selected when you signed up to the service.
We aim for medications to be ready for collection either same working day or next working day. If you are in a rush you can opt for our premium 1–2-hour service, we recommend you check with your nominated pharmacy that they have the medication in stock before ordering.
At each stage of the ordering process, you will receive email updates from us. We will email you to let you know once it is ready for collection.
This could be because our clinical team have not reviewed your order or they need further clinical information from you. Please login to your account and visit the message section and check your email inbox for emails from our clinical team. If there are no messages, please contact our customer service team. We will look into this and get back to you as soon as we can. Contact customer service
If you no longer need the medication, please take it to any local pharmacy and they will be able to safely dispose of it.
