Frequently Asked
Questions ?

Yes, you can get in touch through the messaging section of your account or you can add a message while completing the medical assessment if your query is related to the treatment you are purchasing.

We will only ask you what is medically relevant for us to safely prescribe medication and be effective. To do so we must ask you questions related to your health, medical and medication history.

No. The prescription request must be made by the person intending to take the medication. Before a prescription can be approved we must directly receive the medical history of the patient intending to use the medication.

All of our clinicians are UK qualified and fully regulated to undertake clinical work in the UK. They are also based in the UK and have extensive experience working in the NHS. Please visit the ‘About us’ section of our website to learn more about the company, founder and the clinical team. Our pharmacist prescribers are regulated by the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) and are fully insured to undertake clinical and prescribing activities. You can verify the registrations of all our clinicians. All registration details can be verified by visiting the relevant regulatory body websites. Link is available in the ‘About us’ section.

We are regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). Our partner pharmacies are all regulated by the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) and the Medicines and Healthcare Regulatory Authority (MHRA).

Our Clinical Team will be able to approve your prescription within 24 hours (usually within a few hours) of you filling in our online medical assessment form. If you have a more complicated health background that requires further information, they will contact you (via email or phone) to ascertain the relevant medical history to ensure safe and effective treatment provision. Once the consultation is complete and the medication is deemed appropriate and safe, an electronic prescription will be sent to your nominated pharmacy, where the medication will be dispensed and ready for you to collect.

We strongly advise you to give us permission to share information with your GP so they as your primary health care provider are fully aware of any medications you are taking. We will only share this information if you give us permission to do so.

We will not prescribe any medication until a medical consultation has been undertaken and reviewed by our Clinical Team. Our clinicians will review your existing and past medical history to assess the suitability of the treatment. If your requested treatment is deemed unsafe for you based on your medical history, and there is not an appropriate alternative we can offer, we will not be able to prescribe a medication to you. Instead, we will refer you to your GP for further investigation or assessment. We are regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and our pharmacist prescribers and partner pharmacies are regulated by the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC). Our doctors are regulated by the General Medical Council (GMC).

You will collect your medication from the nominated pharmacy you selected when you signed up to the service.
